Neben vielen Toptiteln, die bereits dieses Jahr erschienen sind oder in Kürze erscheinen werden, hat Nintendo scheinbar auch nicht vor, zum Ende des Jahres mit der großen Softwareinitiative aufzuhören. Zwei der größten und gleichzeitig wichtigsten Titel werden dabei mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit Pokémon X und Pokémon Y sein.
Wie serebii.net nun berichtet, wird es am 19. Mai, im Zuge einer neuen Sendung des wöchentlich erscheinenden japanischen Morgenmagazins Pokémon Smash, große neue Informationen zu den angekündigten Spielen geben. Was genau gezeigt wird, ist zu dem heutigen Zeitpunkt noch nicht bekannt, allerdings wird auch Junishi Masuda, in der Vergangenheit Projektleiter bei diversen Pokémon-Spielen, anwesend sein. Es könnte allerdings auch sein, dass die Neuigkeiten bereits zuvor ans Tageslicht gelangen, da kommenden Mittwoch, am 15. Mai, die neue Ausgabe des Magazins CoroCoro erscheint, welche mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit bereits Informationen zu den Spielen enthalten wird.
Pokémon X und Pokémon Y werden von Game Freak entwickelt und erscheinen weltweit im Oktober 2013 für den Nintendo 3DS.

Ist doch ganz klar. Wenn man weiß, dass die Wii U nix taugt, dann muss man den 3DS eben besonders forcieren ^^
Warum brachte Nintendo eigentlich nie einen vernünftigen Pokemon-Ableger auf eine ihrer stationären Konsolen?
Da gibt es viele Vermutungen zu, aber die naheliegendste ist dass das Spiel in dem Umfang schlecht aussehen muss, um ein Erfolg zu sein. Dazu gibt es einen Artikel bei Gamasutra, allerdings im Zusammenhang mit Monster Hunter 4, gilt aber für alle Spiele die in HD besser aussehen würden:

Da gabs mal ein Interview kurz nach der XY Ankündigung, ich habs mal ausgegraben:
"Traditionally Game Freak has always loved the game to be on a portable device because of the communication, trading, and the experience of taking this adventure with you," J.C. Smith, Pokémon Company International exec explained to Game Informer.
"That's why they've always prioritised a portable version of the game first. They've always liked what you can do in the real world with that... It comes down to what the creators want to do. Every time I've heard them talk about it, it's been about the portable experience."
Wobei ein Pokemon MMORPG bestimmt einschlagen würde wie ne Bombe in Japan.
Ich glaube nicht nur da. Wenn es gut gemacht ist (nicht zu sehr Casual scheiß etc. pp.) würde ich es auch zocken, obwohl mein letztes Pokemonspiel Pokemon Rot vor rund 14 Jahren war.
Ist doch klar, steht ja für "Pocket" Monsters

With special thanks to my friend Gin for translation. First, the Pokémon on the far right is called Gogoat (ゴーゴート literally Gohgohto) and is the Riding Pokémon. It's Grass-type, 1.7m and 91.0kg. You can actually ride this Pokémon in the field. It can learn Horn Leech
The lizard appears to be an Electric type, possibly Normal as well, but the name is currently unviewable due to overexposure. It has a new move called BaraboraCharge
The bird is called Yayakoma (ヤヤコマ) and is the Japanese Robin Pokémon. It is Normal/Flying, 0.3m and 1.7kg
The panda is called Yanchamu ( ヤンチャム) and is the Naughty Pokémon. It is Fighting-type, 0.6m and 8.0kg. It has a new move called Parting Remark
There appears to be more including the game's boxarts, and the Pokédex, as well as the region map but it's not completely visible. We'll bring more as it comes so be sure to keep checking"
